The thing about writing is that lots of people have a tremendous urge to write, but find that getting what's on their mind actually down on paper, is another matter altogether.

In my mind, good writing is all down to practice - and learning as much as possible along the way. I enjoy passing on the knowledge I've accumulated so far. Writing for me began as a hobby and became a way of life. As a self-taught writer I honestly believe that writing is a craft which can be learned if you are determined and enthusiastic enough about writing.

My courses are geared to equip a person with the basic know-how regarding fiction and non-fiction writing which will give them a solid base on which they can further their own writing ambitions.

At present, I run two courses. Writing for Profit and Pleasure, and Writing Great Fiction. Both are eight weeks long, meeting Mondays. Fee is £69 per 8 week course. Refreshments included.

The next sessions will be starting in September 2010. The venue will be Tysall's Photography Studio, 378 Croft Road, Nuneaton, CV10 7DY from 6.30pm-8.30pm.
