Just finished judging the junior section of the Evesham Literary Festival 2017. The standard of writing was very good and I had a difficult task choosing the winner. The top ten entries will be published in an anthology. Presentation to the winners, juniors and adults, takes place at Evesham Town Hall on Friday 30th June. Special guest is Prue Leith.
Every Monday 6.30pm-8.30pm I run Writing for Love and Money classes in Nuneaton for anyone aged 16+ who wants to learn more about the craft of writing. Email me for details.
First Tuesday of the month, I join in with the Coventry Writers' Group. We meet at the Big Comfy Book Shop, Fargo Village, Far Gosford Street, Coventry, from 8pm-10pm.
I will be taking part in the Atherstone Literary Festival (Stone Fest) 15th to 16th July.
I'm doing a book signing on Saturday 13th May at Waterstones, Smithford Way, Coventry 10am to noon; then from 1pm to 3pm I'll be signing books at the Big Comfy Book Shop. Fargo Village, Far Gosford Street, Coventry. I'll be teaming up with my good friend and fellow author, Karen King for these events. My new book is Kill or Die an adult crime thriller (not for children!). Karen has two books being released, I Do? Or Do I? and Perfect Summer.
Karen and I will be promoting our new novels again on Wednesday evening, 24th May from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Coventry Library, Smithford Way, Coventry. It's a free event with refreshments.
Looking forward to attending the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival at Harrowgate in July.
